THIS is what I hate most about the whiney, cowardly far left in this country. Andrew Sullivan of The Atlantic concludes that Bush is a fascist and a war criminal. The smoking gun? The now infamous “torture memo” which concluded that techniques such as water boarding did not constitute torture unless they rose to the level of organ failure, loss of limb, or death.
Are you freaking serious? Allow me to remind you that we’re talking about Terrorists here. We’re not talking about the American people, but Sullivan is quick to imply that the White House is the new Nazi regime. The Gestapo terrorized it’s own people, not hateful jihadists that had taken up arms against them. But then again, who am I to inject some reason into what otherwise is a shocking accusation? (please note that I am not saying that we should torture all terrorist suspects, but it is an important distinction between citizen/terror suspect).
Sullivan’s retarded comparison also makes my blood boil because it diminishes what happened to the Jews. How about Jewish children who were subjected to cruel experiments like putting acid in their eyes to try and turn them blue? Or Jewish women whose legs were bound together during childbirth just to see what happens? Where’s the Bush memo on doing that to the Iraqis? I suppose it just hasn’t surfaced yet.
I’m not saying that cowards like Sullivan shouldn’t question the Bush administration or even criticize its choices, but don’t play this bullshit comparison game between making some murderous would-be Allah-Martyr stand for eight hours versus gassing a couple million people.
I am sick to death of you pastel wearing, horn-rimmed bespectacled little pansies attacking my country at WAR. We are protecting you against people who want to slit your throat, and cut off your head live on Al-Jazeera! I certainly don’t agree with everything the Bush adminstration has done, and I don’t agree with everything in the torture memo, but I don’t forget what George Orwell said:
People sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Since you’re fond of quoting Orwell, you should remember too, Andrew Sullivan.

I should add that Sullivan’s reputation is that of a “libertarian conservative.” However, today, he is just a mouthpiece for the extreme left.

I’ve got an idea…
How about the left attack what the Bush administration has done wrong [countless things to be sure], without comparing Bush to Hitler. Seriously…Hitler? Are there really people that really fucking believe that? If they do, it makes really good case that the public school system is going in the toilet.
If I used the left’s current rhetoric about Bush and applied it to a couple of other Presidents lets see if they like the outcome. Kennedy lied, people died in Vietnam and Nixon should be hailed as great man for brining the troops home.

If the Nuremburg laws where applied evenly, all US presidents since the 1940s, including Jimmy Carter, would hang.
As for the Nazi comparison, let’s not forget that the Bush regime was brought to us by the same organizations that brought us the Third Reich: British and US bankers.
Seriously, get rid of your television if you can’t handle the emotional manipulation.

Okay Freaky Dick, let’s leave the law talk to the grownups, m’kay? The London Charter of 1945 restricted punishment under Nuremburg to major participants of the Axis Powers. It was applied evenly within it’s jurisdictional scope. Now run along and play with your Moveon friends.

Oh yeah then what about those Balckwater dudes shooting innocent Iraqi civilians with impunity? What about Abu Graihb? What about US soldiers raping and murdering Iraqi women and young girls?
