Or should it be “Iowacana?” Anyway, this “living” statue of liberty photo was taken at Camp Dodge, Iowa in 1918 and is composed of over 18,000 soldiers. You can see it better and read more about it HERE.

This is a pretty rad photo. Notice that due to the use of perspective, that more and more people are needed as the statue “goes up.” I’m totally digging this. If you follow the link above you can also see more living pictures from the same photographer.

    he also made some of the men wear white, as to add some definition to the portrait. very talented. don’t know why i havent seen this before!
