I received the following email forward yesterday along with some anti Islamic ranting that sounded like some toothless redneck had written it with the help of his wife-sister. I think out of the hundreds of forwards I’ve verified through Snopes, only ONE has ever been true. Anyway, here is the basic text of the email (without the redneck rant part) :
Dear Friends,
My first reaction to these pictures was “I don´t believe this, it must be a photographic trick”.
Unfortunately, the truth seems evident, a little boy gets punished because he has stolen bread and they drive a heavy vehicle over his arm ….
What do you do when you receive a series of pictures like this? You ignore them???? Delete and think, thank God I am not living in Iran? This does not happen in my world ….
But the world is OURS – whether we live in Portugal, Sweden or in Iran. OUR children grow up in this world.
I feel helpless but I don´t want to think I received these pictures for no reason. Therefore, let´s use the power of the computer and internet to spread the information around the world. Maybe it can save some children from abuse in the future …???
Ignorance can be defeated …. And the internet is a wonderful weapon.

Snopes indicates that the photos are real, but it is not a punishment; rather, it is a stunt done by a magician in which the child is a confederate to the trick – hence the looks as though he is in pain.
You know, there are real atrocities occurring in Islamic countries. Forwarding fake ones just diminishes the believability and gravity of the actual human rights violations. If someone forwards you this kind of garbage, send them the Snopes link and ask them to stop spamming you.

Ok, before I scrolled down to read what was under the pictures, I was thinking: if this was a punishment, why is he not fighting. There are no guns pointed at him. Also, why the cushion under his arm? They didn’t want to get blood on the ground during his punishment? I am aware that I have grown up in a much different place, but if someone tried to run over my arm (and I wasn’t getting a crap load of money) I would certainly fight back.

Right right Daren.
All I know is that after I get my check in the mail from Bill Gates for forwarding on those emails sent by him, I will never work another day in my life! You can say you knew me when.

everything shown in those pics are just not true they have been fabricated, the guy who is known to be the father of the kid is a doing a street show in order to make money for living, u will be a dumb jerk ass if u do believe in it, take this as example
tell a 40 year guy that u will cut off his hand with for god sakes a truck
he will cry like a 2 year old kid, he will be screaming for help, his facial expersion would be in misery, he would not be calm sitting for his hands to be cut off right??
would u try every possible way to free ur self, atleast u will have ur hands and feets all over the place to save u so that u can run free???
Now go back and have a look at the first and second picture look how calm the boy is, in the first pic no one is even hold him in place, its like as he has agreed to something???
Secondly if u want to break some ones hand would u rather do it with a knife?? why truck
Thirdly why would u put a blanket underneath his arm??? doesnt make sense if u are trying to crush or break some ones hand
so then why have these jerk asses tried to represent such hilarious drama, only dumb anti islmic people can use these as a form of excuse for their mass murdering of muslims, and forthly iran is the next country under US list to attack wouldnt it be sensible for them to try make the public grow their hatred towards them. I think islam is the most beautiful religion in the entire world the one that rules, there are some nasty jerks who have badly stained it, but that doesnt mean that we would let others attack it this way, its just rubbish and i see people reply in an emotional way….. shiiite man how and why would u do this

Yes, “unknown,” THAT IS WHY I CALLED IT MYTHBUSTING. Mythbusting is when you show someone that something they believe is actually false. I was exposing the anti-islam email forward as a fraud. That was the point. I was not trying to be a nasty jerk ass. I do not like nasty jerk asses. They are dumb jerks.

[...] Re: I saw this and it made me sick!!! You’d expect the poor little boy to have a look of terror on his face and maybe a few tears. And maybe the guy would be holding the kid down rahther than smoking a cigarette, but the lad seems to be lying there of his own free will. And why put the cloth under his arm? WHat difference does it make when according to the text he will "Lose forever the use of his right arm". Have a read of this. Mythbusting: A Boy’s Broken Arm The Corn Beltway Boys [...]

There is a particularly nasty piece of anti-Islamic and specifically, anti-Iranian propaganda going around. It’s being spread on YouuTube and originating from Zionist email listings and postings (pointing the finger of suspicion at Zionist circles).
The images are taken from a street show. A clever trick performed by a father and son. But look at what the sick mind turned them into:
